Ladakh is a major tourist attraction, with people visiting to see the gompas, trek to glaciers and meadows, and witness ceremonies and festivities. It's also a great place for bikers and adventure lovers. Ladakh is one of the world's highest regions, with the altitude ranging from 2,750 meters at Kargil to 7,672 meters at Saser Kangri. It's a cold desert with high plains, deep valleys, rivers, lakes, and mountain ranges. The Karakoram, Ladakh, Zanskar, and Great Himalayas ranges run through Ladakh.

Tour Plan

Day 1

Arrival Leh and Evening sightseeing near Leh main city

Arrival Leh in the morning, our representative driver will meet, greet, assist and transfer you to the Hotel.  Full day of rest for complete acclimatization to the high altitude of Leh (11,500 ft / 3500 mtrs). Evening short sightseeing to Shanti Stupa, Leh Palace and Market. Dinner and overnight at Leh.

Day 2

Leh – Sangam Tours

After breakfast, drive for local sightseeing of Leh city including - Sangam - Where Indus & Zanskar river meets and also famous for river rafting during the Summer Months,  Magnetic Hill - Here is believed that the gravity takes a backseat, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib- Was built in 1517 to commemorate the visit of Guru Nanak Dev Ji to Ladakh Region, Spituk Monastery – Home for the wish fulfilling  Glorious Goddess (famous among Hindus as Kali Mata),  Hall of fame - a memorial built in the memory of all the soldiers who lost their lives in India - Pakistan War Dinner and overnight at Leh.

Day 3

Leh-Nubra valley (Via Khardongla Pass)

After a leisurely morning breakfast drive to Nubra valley (The valley of flowers) via Khardung la, (18300feet) considered as one of the highest motor able road in the World. The view from top of the passes is amazing. One can see all the way south over the Indus valley to the seemingly endless peaks. After explores we drive toward the down Hunder past an area of rolling Sand Dunes, one can see double hump Camel and visitors can take a camel safari (Own cost) here. Dinner and overnight in nubra valley.

Day 4

Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake via Shayok

After breakfast at the hotel we drive to the next destination, Pangong lake via Shyok and onto Tangtse and Spangmik (Pangong). Just a few Kms drive from Hunder, visit Disket Monastery and later continue your drive towards Pangong, the road follows the Shyok river, and climbs up a mountain before finally descending into Shayok village, the entire setting being very picturesque. Afternoon we reach at Pangong lake and enjoy your day at pangong lake and observe the majestic Lake. Overnight stay in Cottages/camps. 

Day 5

Pangong Lake to Hanle (175 Kms / 6-7 hrs )

After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Hanle, by crossing Chushul Village, Chushul War Memorial ,Tsaga La (15,200 Ft) enjoy the drive upto Hanle, which is home to the Indian Astronomical Observatory. The location of the village and the observatory are highly sensitive due to the close proximity of the Tibetan / Chinese border. India set up the Himalayan Chandra Telescope - a 2m gamma ray telescope.  It is used for major Atmospheric Cerenkov Experiment  and the Gamma ray telescope is world's largest telescope at the highest altitude and the second largest gamma ray telescope in the world. Beside this the Hanle village itself is very mesmerizing.  As per history, it is believed that King Singge Namgyal died here at Hanle while on his return from an expedition of Mongols. Later visit Hanle Monastery. Enjoy the stay with locals at a local homestay. Overnight stay at Hanle.

Day 6

Hanle to Leh via Chumathang

After breakfast check out and drive back to Leh via Chumathang village – famous for its very unique hot boiling spring oozing out from the soil.  Continue drive towards Leh and visit Thiksey monastery and Rencho School on the way to Leh. Dinner and overnight stay in Leh hotel

Day 7

Leh Departure

After breakfast, check out from the hotel & drop at Airport for return journey with sweet memories of Ladakh Tour
